At the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Climate Change and Agriculture: Challenges for Agricultural Science and Education”, Donau Soja was proud to contribute to the discussion on sustainable soil management with a presentation by their agronomist Mykola Bykov.

In his presentation “Soil Preparation Technologies for Soybean Cultivation: Adapting to Climate Change”, Mykola provided practical insights into how different tillage systems affect soil fertility, water retention and greenhouse gas emissions. The presentation was based on real field experiences and scientific research relevant to Ukrainian and European farming contexts.

Agro-Climatic Atlas of Ukraine

To further support Ukrainian farmers in adapting to climate change, Donau Soja developed the Agro-Climatic Atlas of Ukraine. This comprehensive guide provides valuable insights into climate projections, soil characteristics and water resources to help farmers make informed decisions about crop varieties, irrigation and pest management. The atlas is available in Ukrainian and can be downloaded here.
