The 8th International Food Legume Research Conference (IFLRC) and the 5th Australian Pulse Conference (APC) will be held as a joint meeting in Perth, Western Australia, from 15–19 September 2025.
This combined conference will bring together researchers, industry representatives, and other stakeholders from across the globe to share the latest developments in food legume research and application. The program will feature a three-day scientific program (16–18 September), preceded by pre-conference workshops and satellite meetings on 15 September, and followed by a field day on 19 September.
Key elements of the program include invited keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and field tours of research facilities in the Perth region.
The meeting aims to promote collaboration across disciplines and along the legume value chain, from breeding and production to processing, consumption, nutrition, and environmental impacts, with a particular focus on addressing global challenges such as climate change, food security, and sustainable agriculture.
