Studied Agricultural Sciences at the University of Kassel, Germany and the University of Wales, UK between 1995 and 2000. Doctorate in Organic Crop Production in 2007. In total, 12 years in Teaching and Research at the
Department of Organic Farming and Cropping Systems, University of Kassel until 2013. For 8 years in extension and research on organic crop production at LLH. Experienced in field experiments on peas, field beans, soybeans, lupines and N2 fixation of grain legumes as well as the integration of legumes into organic crop rotations and their interaction with soil tillage intensity.
